Do I Have To Take A Parenting Class As Part Of My Divorce?

During a divorce, children often experience difficulty adjusting to their parent’s separation, so to help lessen the impact on the children the court might require the parents to attend a seminar for separating parents, or sometimes called the cope class.
Once the parents complete this class they will receive a certificate that they must file with the court. This seminar for separating parents or cope as it is often called is only needed if the judge ordered you to do the class.
